The transition towards renewable energy sources like sun, wind, biomass and geothermal energy is supported by a growing and increasingly important industry. Interdisciplinarity is the key word here. Economic, legal, social, technological and environmental issues all come together in one big challenge: implementing new concepts in a world that seems addicted to the old energy sources. New professionals need to understand the complexities of doing business in a vastly changing energy market. They must be capable of designing and modelling innovative business plans, as well as implementing them in real world situations.
In order to support the development of human capital necessary for this energy transition, the association of European Renewable Energy Centres (EUREC) and three of its members have developed a new master programme. The European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management (SESyM) will allow students with a background in economics, social sciences, management and systemic studies to join the sustainable energy industry. The new programme is complementary to the European Master in Renewable Energy programme that is already available for technically oriented students.
The SESyM programme clearly has an international focus. Not only because of the international student mix, but also because you are expected to study at different locations in Europe. This means you will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of European universities and companies related to the renewable energy sector.
The SESyM programme is an initiative of EUREC and three of its members: Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS) in Groningen (the Netherlands), University of Pisa (Italy) and University of Zaragoza (Spain).

Persyaratan
- Akademis: gelar S1
- Bahasa Inggris: TOEFL iBT min. 90 (sub scores tidak kurang dari 20) atau IELTS min. 6.5 (sub scores tidak kurang dari 6.0) atau Cambridge Advance Exam: min B atau Cambridge Proficiency Exam: min C
- Pengalaman kerja: tidak wajib memiliki pengalaman kerja tetapi akan lebih diutamakan yang berpengalaman
